Were going home!
We set up camp on Sunday 7/25
One of the activities available was horseback riding.
If I thought I was going to be on a horse, I would have worn long pants.
Thanks to Mr Reisig, our flag lowering featured Taps
This is the area where the campfires are held. A couple of the benches were loose but by weeks end, they were fixed.
Merit badge classes are held between breakfast and lunch.
This is the Art merit badge class
Shotgun shooting was a lot of fun.
Bear was the counselor.
The camp was thankful for any service projects that were done
There were four peaks to be conquered. Three of the hikes were at night.
The camp staff were members of a Venture crew from Old Baldy Council
One of the Friday competition events was lashing an A-frame then walking it.
A Holcomb Valley tradition is the tombstone. We "buried" our whole troop.
Right before we left to go home, we posed for our annual summercamp photo
